All-round Technician

We clean, melt, and smoke cheese for various applications.

Our client is looking for motivated all-round technicians to support us in the start-up and further development of our beautiful new production location in Lopik.

Where will you be working?

Here, melting and smoked cheese is produced and packed in a traditional way in various flavors and packaging forms. The products are supplied to industrial processors, importers, and traders worldwide. The machine park is almost entirely new and includes a range of technology. You will be part of the team that helps build and optimize this facility.

What will you do?

As an All-round Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal technical condition of an extensive and technologically advanced production site. You will do this by performing preventive and corrective maintenance and making improvements to our complex production lines. Your work will take place in Lopik, where you will be the main point of contact and responsible for the overall technical condition of the production lines and building-related installations. These installations vary from water treatment plants to electrical power generators and high-pressure installations. In short: a very diverse role.

You will share your expertise with the Technical Coordinator and work closely with your immediate colleagues within the Technical Department. Additionally, you will supervise contractors and suppliers during preventive maintenance, modifications, and repair work. Furthermore, you will be expected to:

• Comply with safety and hygiene regulations in all your work;
• Identify unsafe situations and deviations and report them according to procedure;
• Be the point of contact for contractors and temporary employees and supervise them during technical work;
• Be available outside office hours for advice, analysis, and on-call duty.

Who are you?

• You have knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical engineering, and PLC controls and are familiar with NEN 3140;
• You have natural technical insight and enjoy solving problems;
• You have experience in a production environment;
• You communicate well and have a good command of the Dutch language;
• You are independent but also enjoy working as part of a team;
• You are capable of making decisions and are not afraid to ask for help;
• You have completed a technical education at N4 or higher;
• You will work in a 2-shift system (6:00 am – 2:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm).
