As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will work at a modern industrial production site in the Netherlands and become part of an experienced Mechanical Technical Service team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance and reliability of industrial machinery. Working closely with technical colleagues and production teams, you will contribute directly to operational continuity and technical excellence.
Key responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and scheduled mechanical maintenance on production equipment.
- Diagnose, analyse, and resolve mechanical breakdowns and technical malfunctions.
- Carry out repairs and mechanical adjustments on a diverse machine park.
- Reduce downtime by effective troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with technicians and production departments in a multicultural work environment.
- Work according to Dutch safety regulations and technical standards.
Requirements:
- MBO diploma in Mechanical Engineering or proven MBO-level working and thinking ability.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance or breakdown services within an industrial production environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Hands‑on mentality with the ability to work independently.
- Team‑oriented mindset and strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work in time-sensitive environments and persistent when resolving technical issues.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts
- Ability to communicate in English at a professional working level (Dutch language skills are a plus but not required initially).
